Full Day Tours from Paris:
Trip # 1: Giverny and Versailles –- Thursday, July 7
8:15 am departure. We leave Paris by the western districts of the city and take the Normandy motorway as far as Bonnières. After crossing the River Seine at Vernon we reach Giverny which is located at around 1.30 hrs from Paris. Our guide gives an enlightening visit of the gardens before leaving clients to visit Monet's home and studio on their own. Lunch at the lovely Moulin de Fourges Then continue to Versailles by the motorway. Guided visit to the State Apartments. Free time for the visit of the gardens. End of the tour around 05.45 pm . Included: Transportation in luxury air conditioned coach; entrance to Giverny gardens and house; lunch at Moulin de Fourges, entrance to Versailles Palace and gardens; services of a licensed multilingual guide.Price: $220 per person
Trip #2: Landing Beaches of Normandy and Peace Museum – Saturday, July 9
Departure 8:15 am We cross the western districts of Paris and take the Normandy motorway as far as Caen (arrival around 10.15 AM). We stop at the Caen Memorial museum (known as the Peace Museum) for a commented visit and film followed by lunch. After lunch we depart for the landing beaches with a stop at both the Pointe du Hoc and the American cemetery Saint-Laurent at Omaha Beach for 1 hour. We make a stop at Arromanches. Continue to the close vicinity of the Canadian Memorial of Juno Beach (short photo stop). Return to Paris : 9.00 PM. Included:* Transportation in luxury air conditioned coach.* Entrance ticket for the Caen Peace Memorial Museum. * Lunch at the Caen Peace Memorial Museum (drinks included)* Visit to the Saint-Laurent cemetery. * Services of a licensed guide.Price $249 per person
